Awe Walks
As an extrovert, the vibrant, fast-paced city life is more my speed. However, nature has her own kind energy to share. The beautiful, serene, and peaceful whisper also speaks to me.

Tres Cruces National Park, Equidor
At the top of the world (4,000 meters), stands a lonely wind blown tree and a pristine lake.
Japanese Garden at Maymont Park, Richmond VA
This beautifully maintained park is free to wonder. The japanese gardens are my favorite.

The Sentry
This saguaro cactus stands alone a top a mountain peak in Superior, Arizona’s Boyce Thompson Arboretum.

Are these tribbles?
Barrel Cacti in Boyce Thompson Arboretum look more like Star Trek’s tribbles on an alien landscape.

Boyce Thompson Arboretum
A beautiful new view around every corner of Boyce Thompson Arboretum

La Cordillera de los Llanganates
View from a platform, rope swing 100m above the Amazonian rain forest.

Amazonian stream
A semi-dry stream bed made for an easy hike. The rain forest is so lush and alive. I was in awe everywhere I looked.

Balloch castle in the fall
Just a short bus ride from Glasgow, Balloch castle had well manicured lawns. The fall foliage is the most vibrant I have seen.

The road less traveled
I enjoyed the ‘right to roam’ laws in Scotland. Walking dirt farm roads through serene pastures.

Patterson Park
Mother nature is most beautiful in the fall. Closer to home, my favorite walk is Patterson Park, Baltimore MD.

Kilgore falls at Rocks State Park
During Covid, I was able to explore even more of my home state. My first trip to Rocks State Park I found this water fall.

Calvert Cliffs
Another Covid Awe Walk. This time at Calvert Cliffs State Park. Found several fossilized teeth on the beach, but this hidden stream with a tree root bridge was my favorite.
